I really should've been in bed a few hours ago but my residence room is making me sad and it doesn't smell like my room anymore, it's weird. Or maybe I'm the weird one. Probably. I was going to avoid typing a blog but then I realized it's my last blog in residence- ever. So then I knew I had to do one to commemorate the time spent here.I tend to over-dramatize everything by taking pictures of everything as though I'm forever leaving Toronto and York... It's hard to close a chapter of your life sometimes.
It was a good chapter though it's just time to leave it. Time to pack up and go to new living quarters.
I made Tatham Hall Room 311 a home, an escape, a prison - I made it me. I really do wish walls could talk- it's amazing how much I've grown from these past 2 years in this lovely little room
Yet, after all my years of moving, I always look to every new place as an adventure. There's some mourning and then a whole ton of excitement. Obviously, I'm currently in the mourning state but it shall change when I walk through those Tatham doors the last of my bags.

Today I said goodbye to my sweet A.M. and P.M. Senior Kindergardeners. They are so flipping adorable- the P.M. class all ambushed me with a big hug and it was such a lovely experience- I love children so much. Their innocence, their complete willingness to love, to learn, to grow. Amazing.
These are the children that showed me how precious every life is and how one little smile and word can change everything.
I wish I could just keep them with me all the time (not thinking realistically) just to see how they see things or what quirky things they'd say. Children have such an awesome way of looking at things - I truly wish more parents worked harder to pay attention to their children and the same goes to the elderly. These two extremes have so much to offer yet they're sometimes looked down upon in this self-focused society. Ridiculous. If more people spent time with children and the elderly, I think a lot more people would be wiser, more grateful, and appreciate their lives and the presence of those within it.
