Happiness

I feel as though this marvelous emotion is running through every vein in my body right now.

Just when it seems that I'm stuck in this rut, an amazing time like today happens and my appreciation for the people, weather, and wonderfulness around me grows.

My day really started to brighten up when I took Goldielocks out for a ride in the gorgeous sunshiney and blue skied outside. I haven't biked
in a really long time and it was so so so wonderful- I forgot how much I truly loved biking. I sang and rode along on my bike, feeling all the fresh air swirl around me, it was perfect.

I bought a lock for my lovely bicycle and as I rode along to York I smelled fresh bread and I found a sweet little bakery on Finch St. I couldn't help but go in. The bakery was so bright with natural light and smelled so delicious, I knew I had to buy myself something so I got a loaf of homemade egg bread and some tasty deli meats - Polish Ham and Vienna salami. It's interesting how one place can take you away to another world because in that bakery, I felt as though I was in Europe with my cute little bicycle waiting outside as I bought some European country meats.

I got back and was able to smoke shisha with my friend Dara in the quad right outside of residence which was calming. it was nice just to relax outside with a friend that I've become closer to. After shisha we went to the Residence Life Leadership Program for Tatham. I ended up winning Rookie of the Year with Nicolas (we actually voted for each other) which made me really happy because I was not expecting to win anything and I won a name on a plaque and a new York University mug. There was an enormous amount of food that was left over so I took some and now I don't have to eat campus food for a week which is freaking awesome!

I'm leaving residence for good after this month so I'm glad I was able to leave a part of me here because Tatham Hall is where I grew, where I learned, where I loved.

I'm happy because this day helped me realize how lucky I truly am and I can't help but be so grateful to God for giving me this life.

So, to my dear friends reading this, I would love to hear of a day or a part of a day when everything worked out so lovely you couldn't help but think that times like those make life worth every minute.

Amour

As well, I spelled divine improperly. Somehow I ALWAYS spell it with an E (likely because I have cousins with that spelling as their last name)
